Will Vietnam( Vietnamese Dong) suffer the same fate one day?

I suspect gold will find its legs around here somewhere. Dong will also gain a little strength going into Lunar New Year. I doubt the dong will get screwed up like Iceland, but it could happen. I just doubt it because Vietnam is a legitimate investment destination rather than just a financial depository like Iceland.
